Montefalco Rosso DOC 2020 6 bot

A delightful drinking pleasure: this redwine is composed of 70% Sangiovese, 15% Sagrantino and 15% Merlot. It develops an intense ruby red colour with a complex nose and soothing depth. The fruit notes from plum to cherry are complex and a hint of tobacco leaf underlines the rounded spiciness. The Montefalco Rosso was carefully hand harvested in September /October, macerated in steel tanks for 3 weeks and matured in French oak barrels for 1 year. After a further 24 months of ageing in the bottle, the wine develops its full aroma.
